Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Release Cover of "Love Is Alive"
Blake Shelton, 47, and Gwen Stefani, 53, pay tribute to The Judds’ with their latest duet release, “Love Is Alive.”
The 1984 hit was originally featured on the mother-daughter duo’s album Why Not Me.
“‘Love Is Alive’ is an iconic track and performing the song with Blake is a perfect way to honor their timeless discography,” Stefani told PEOPLE .
The power couple are planning to release an album at the end of October in honor of what would have been Naomi and Wynonna’s 40th anniversary as a duo.

Naomi Judd died on April 30, 2022 at the age of 76 after living with mental illness for many years. Her death was by suicide.
“That is the level of catastrophe of what was going on inside of her, because the barrier between the regard in which they held her couldn’t penetrate into her heart, and the lie that the disease told her was so convincing,” daughter Ashley Judd told Good Morning America a few short weeks later.

“I have always admired The Judds and I am so thrilled to be part of this album,” Stefani said in a press release.
“The Judds are one of the greatest country acts of our lifetime. ’80s country music is my favorite decade,” Shelton added. “I’ve been singing Judd songs for as long as I can remember.”

Their new album is set to be released October 27, 2023.
