Keeping Kids Entertained with Stories of the Bible Thanks to Friends from the Reef
In a world inundated with countless streaming services containing questionable content for children’s eyes to behold, Liftable has a series that is not only safe for kids to watch, but it is filled with life lessons anchored in biblical truth displayed through the stories of saints who followed Jesus’ example.
Lukas: Storyteller engages children’s hearts and minds in fun and interactive ways as Lukas and his friends take a deep-sea dive into real-life scenarios kids face every day and point them to Jesus and how He wants them to live.
Starting in Episode 1 where Lukas helps his friend discover where true happiness comes from through the story of Saint John Paul II, each episode contains unique situations that help kids grow spiritually such as encouraging them to help others, learning to pray to God on their own, obeying their parents, discovering true friendship, respecting others, and practicing gratefulness.
In Matthew 6, Jesus warns believers how vital it is to guard what their eyes behold, a necessary element to storing up treasures in Heaven by saying:
“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!” Matthew 6:22-23, ESV.
How important it is for children to be filled with what is true and good, so they are equipped to grow up and be lights in a world full of darkness.
Introducing the Lukas: Storyteller show is a practical step for parents to shepherd and help shape their kids’ hearts and minds toward an ongoing relationship with Jesus.
Although living in this world is often confusing and painful, children can learn from a young age that their hope is found in someone who brings good out of every hard day.
