I Don't Have the Energy!

Linkedin Share

Hey Friends!

I do pray for God to open doors in my life. More importantly, though, I pray for God to close any doors He did not open for me!

“And I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David. He shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open,” (Isaiah 22:22, ESV).

Lately, I have been talking with my friends about this subject, which has really resonated with them. Now I get to share with you as well!

Because here is the deal, I am NOT about wasting my energy on anything outside God’s will. I simply don’t have ANY extra energy to waste on something that is not of the LORD.

Listen, I’ve tried to pursue my ideas and agendas, which has exhausted me, and ultimately those ventures have failed.

How about you?

Instead, I pray to hear Him accurately in what is next for me. This is my prayer for you as well, my friend. I only want to pursue what Jesus wants me to do. My hope is you only pursue what He has for you as well.

As I plan out my days, weeks, and entire future, I hope that He will close any doors I am not to walk through. This will conserve all my energy for what doors He has opened for me.

Do you find yourself too exhausted to walk through the doors God has opened for you?

I desire to work for the LORD in the most meaningful ways He has designed for my life.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,” (Colossians 3:23, ESV).

So here is the bottom line for me. I hope it is the bottom line for you as well.

Be wise and only walk through the doors God has opened for you!
