Mom Panics After Toddler Said He Spotted Feet in Woods Behind Home

Brittany Moore of Senoia, Georgia was playing with her toddler son, Ethan, when he said something that would send any mom into panic mode.

It all started when Moore and her 1 1/2-year-old son were playing with bubbles in their backyard. The bubbles floated towards the fence line, where Ethan and the family’s dogs would chase them like they often did. This time, however, something in the woods caught Ethan’s attention.

“I went over there and was like, ‘What do you see buddy?’ and he pointed and said, ‘Feet,’” Moore told WGCL-TV in an interview. “‘Okay, buddy can you say that again. What did you say?’ And he said, ‘Feet.'”

Moore recalled that she did not see anything from her location, except overgrown trees. That’s when she crouched down to her toddler’s level and looked to where he was pointing. To her shock, Moore noticed a pair of feet.

“If you get on his level and look through, you can see some of the broken sticks and that’s where she was laying,” Moore said. “I didn’t know if I needed to go into fight or flight because I had my little boy out here and the other inside.”

Moore said she began to panic before calling for help. When first responders arrived on the scene, they made an incredible discovery. The pair of feet belonged to 82-year-old Nina Lipscomb, who had been reported missing since August 9th.

Nina’s son, Thomas Lipscomb, reported that she had been in town to visit relatives and had wandered off. According to WGCL-TV, authorities had been actively looking for Lipscomb, who has early-stage Alzheimer’s, using thermal technology.

“We pulled out every resource we thought we needed but it was a little boy and she’s very fond of children,” Karen Lipscomb, Nina’s daughter, said.

The next day, Coweta County Sheriff’s Office announced that Nina had been found “conscious and alert” and had been transported to the hospital for evaluation, according to People.

On August 15th, Nina was released from the hospital and was able to meet Ethan.

“Thank you for your Christian walk,” Karen told Moore, while gifting Ethan with a bag of toy bubbles. “I recognized it right off. The story of bubbles is so pure and innocent and yet effective.”

Thanks to a toddler playing with bubbles, Nina’s life was saved.

“I truly think this was something outside of what any human could do,” Moore said. “It took a child who was being worked by God. We will always teach him what he did, how he played an impact in it.”

Karen posted about the news on her Facebook account. “MY GOD IS FAITHFUL AND ANGELS COME IN ALL SHAPES AND SIZES.”

God has a purpose for everyone, young and old. It is clear that through God, Ethan was able to say one word that would make a big difference to the Lipscomb family.
