Do you have a fan of the modern Christmas classic movie “A Christmas Story” on your gift list?
Look no further! This time next year, they could be enjoying the holidays in the iconic house in Cleveland, Ohio where the movie was filmed.
That’s right. The house from “A Christmas Story” is officially on the market. You can check out all the details on the sale website.
According to Fox News Digital, “Chad Whitmer, the listing agent from the Northeast Ohio-based commercial real estate company Hoff and Leigh, said the listing includes the house, the Bumpus house, the gift shop, museum and a number of vacant lots that have been acquired by the home’s current owner over the years.”
“‘They have turned [the home] into something special,’ said Whitmer.”
PEOPLE reports, “The house, located on 11th Street in Cleveland, Ohio, is where many of the iconic scenes from the movie were shot, including the infamous staircase where little Ralphie Parker showed off his pink bunny costume for the first time and the living room where Old Man Parker placed his memorable leg lamp for all to see.”
The asking price isn’t available to the public yet, but the value of the property includes the nostalgia attached to a building that comes loaded with anecdotes cherished by fans of the beloved movie.
Over 1 million visitors have toured the home since it was opened to the public in 2006 and it’s even outfitted with “somewhat ancient appliances” to match the period of the film.

HBO Max has announced a sequel to the film which originally released in 1983.
The new movie “features Peter Billingsley reprising his role as Ralphie Parker, but instead of the wide-eyed kid he once was, this time he is a grown-up father of two and a struggling writer.” Titled “A Christmas Story Christmas,” you can catch it on HBO Max beginning November 17.
If you’re planning to make a bid on the house, be sure to ask if the price includes the BB gun (or, more specifically, according to Ralphie’s Christmas list, a Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-shot Range Model air rifle.)
