Generous Couple Rescues Packages Dumped on Roadside By FedEx Driver, Hand Delivers Them To Recipients
An Ohio couple is being credited for saving a bunch of packages dumped on the side of the road by a FedEx driver. Zach Arnwine and his fiancée were traveling on a highway east of Georgetown, Ohio when they saw a FedEx truck with its lights flashing.
Arnwine’s fiancée said that it appeared that the driver was throwing something on the side of the road.
Turning around to investigate, the driver was already gone.
“We pulled up where he was and there were packages lying everywhere,” Arnwine said. “So, we decided to pick them up.”
What’s even more amazing is that Arnwine got in contact with each package recipient.
“I called every number on each box and told them that I had their package and I will deliver them to their house,” he said.
“They were wondering how I got their phone number and their package, but I explained the situation and they got their package delivery,” he added.

Royce Charbeneau, one of the package recipients, said that he had received a text from FedEx stating that his package along with another one had been delivered.
“On the way home, we get a call. It’s a number I don’t know,” Charbeneau said. “And I usually don’t answer numbers I don’t know, but I did. It was a guy named Zach and he said he had our package.”
According to WKRC, Charbeneau filed a complaint with FedEx. The company informed him that the incident was under investigation.
When asked why he decided to deliver the packages, Arnwine told WKRC that with the holidays approaching, he didn’t want them to end up in an evidence room or somewhere else. He has since tried to reach out to FedEx several times, but he has not been able to get in touch with anyone.
