Heartwarming: Watch as Little Girl Cheers for Her Daddy at Graduation
Graduating from college is a big accomplishment in anyone’s life. The graduation ceremony and receiving the diploma are usually the best moments of the day. For one father, the biggest moment wasn’t walking across the stage, but sitting in the crowd.
When Aashish Nalawade walked across the stage, his young daughter, Shivaee, could be heard screaming, “Congratulations Daddy!!! I Love You,” on the video he shared on Instagram.
While those in the audience laughed at the sweet gesture, the proud father couldn’t help but turn to her and smile, blowing a kiss and responding, “I love you.”
As little Shivaee responds, “I love you, daddy,” the audience can be heard breaking into laughter again.

Moved by the moment, Aashish shared the following message on his Instagram account: “My graduation ceremony wouldn’t have got any better without my little princess.”
“As her words ecoed (sic) through the silent ceremony hall- ‘Congratulations Daddy!!! I Love You!’ My heart melted along with all the others present.”
“Rather than the graduation award, I felt ‘Being father to my daughter’ is the biggest accomplishment and achievement to me. She is the world’s best daughter, but you know what people actually say ‘LIKE DAUGHTER LIKE FATHER'”
The heartwarming video has been viewed over 230k times on Facebook. It goes to show that no accomplishment can outshine being a parent.
